“Dreams From My Mentor (Frank Marshall-Davis)” by Barry O with grammatical assistance from Bill Ayers

28 02 2013

I’m sure that most, if not all, of you have heard of the set of Communist Goals that were entered into Congressional Record on January 10, 1963.  I haven’t closely reviewed them in almost 4 years and in honor of the 50th Anniversary of this official record, I thought we should refresh our memories and see how far we have come.

* I am listing them, but the website http://www.communistgoals.com/goals/goals.htm has kept track of their successes, issues being forced currently and some where they had no knowledge of government action.

The Communist Goals

1.  US acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2.  US willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3.  Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the US would be a demonstration of   “moral strength.”

4.  Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5.  Extension of long term loans to Russia and Soviet Satellites.

6.  Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7.  Grant recognition of Red China, and admission of Red China to the UN.

8.  Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the Germany question by free elections under supervision of the UN.

9.  Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the US has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet Satellites individual representation in the UN.

11. Promote the UN as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the UN as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo).

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the US Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the US.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism, and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in text books.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV & motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings,” substitute shapeless, awkward, and meaningless forms.

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography, and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as “normal, natural, and healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man”.

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of “the big picture”: Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture – – education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures, which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat.

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special interest groups should rise up and make a “united force” to solve economic, political, or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally Reservation so the US can not prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.

Rather than ask which goals you think have been met, are there any on the list that have remained out of reach for even the most determined Commies??   What can we do to ensure that they never meet all of these goals??  To reverse some of the damage done??

* I also encourage reading http://www.jeremiahproject.com/culture/10-planks-of-communism.html They are listed and then followed with a short discussion of where America has adopted any of these planks.

The War on Women is Real

8 05 2012

That’s right.  There is a war on women in this country that has existed for almost 40 yrs and it’s one that everyone seems too scared to talk about.  Not me.  I hope this is shared by everyone that reads it and that it reaches as many people as it possibly can.  I’ve seen so many variations of the “war on women” from denying them free birth control to abortion killing unborn women.  The war that I speak of has affected millions of women but most are too ashamed to speak out about it.  I’m sure most people have never heard of Post Abortion Stress Syndrome or PASS.  It is real and I know this because I suffer from it.  Some of the symptoms, according to the website http://www.afterabortion.com are:

  • emotions, and dealing with emotional issues
  • struggles with depression
  • continued suicidal thoughts or attempts
  • anxiety and panic disorder
  • addictions of all kinds
  • difficulty sleeping and sleeping problems
  • disturbing dreams and/or nightmares
  • problems with phobias, or increase in severity of existing phobias
  • eating disorders
  • “replacement baby” syndrome
  • repeated unplanned pregnancies with additional abortions
  • repeated unplanned pregnancies carried to term
  • “atonement marriage”, where the woman marries the partner from the abortion, to help justify the abortion
  • trouble with relationships and dealing with partners
  • distress at the sight of other pregnant women, other people’s babies and children
  • inability to deal with or socialize with other pregnant women, other people’s babies and children
  • codependence and inability to make decisions easily
  • problems with severe and disproportionate anger
  • work and school problems (unable to function normally)
  • problems bonding with and caring for existing children or new babies
  • distress and problems with later pregnancy
  • added emotional issues and problems when dealing with future infertility or other physical complications resulting from the abortion.
  • unhealthy obsession with excelling at work or school, to justify the abortion

I am 100% pro-life and dedicated to informing as many people as I can about this issue in hopes of preventing them from making the same mistake I made.  I watched every aspect of my life crumble around me and it breaks my heart knowing that this is happening to more women every day.  If you are reading this, please share it with anyone that can help pass this message on to those who need to hear it because they are in danger of making a life changing mistake that abortion clinics will never tell you about.

Obama: The One-Man Terrorist Slayer

6 05 2012

I’m sure by now everyone knows that through the hard work of our military and intelligence communities, we were able to kill Osama Bin Laden a little over a year ago.  Recently, because it is an election year, Obama decided to team up with President Bill Clinton to produce this web ad.

I’m not going to discuss whether or not Mitt Romney would have made the same call, instead, I am going to look a bit deeper into that “gutsy call” that Obama made.  First, there was this response from Veterans for America.

If that wasn’t enough, in an article appearing in The Daily Mail, the Navy SEALs attacked Barack Obama for using them as “ammunition” and taking all the credit in the killing of Bin Laden.

Chris Kyle, a former SEAL sniper with 160 confirmed and another 95 unconfirmed kills to his credit, said: ‘The operation itself was great and the nation felt immense pride. It was great that we did it.

‘But bin Laden was just a figurehead. The war on terror continues. Taking him out didn’t really change anything as far as the war on terror is concerned and using it as a political attack is a cheap shot.

‘In years to come there is going to be information that will come out that Obama was not the man who made the call. He can say he did and the people who really know what happened are inside the Pentagon, are in the military and the military isn’t allowed to speak out against the commander- in-chief so his secret is safe.’

But wait, there’s more.  In an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal, former Attorney General Michael Mukasey revealed that the administration had drafted a memo that would place the blame on the military had the mission to kill Bin Laden failed.  Here is AG Mukasey appearing on Hannity:

Still, there is more.  While appearing on Huckabee, General Jack Keane (Retired), the former Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, told Mike Huckabee that Obama knew where Bin Laden was hiding out since the summer of 2010 but wanted absolute proof.  That long time period that he waited could have given Bin Laden the chance to escape if he felt that his whereabouts were known by the United States.

I can’t think of a way that this could get any worse for Barack Obama, but that doesn’t make it impossible!  After all, today is a new day and there are always new ways for our dear leader to screw up!!

12 02 2012

Since this is my first blog post, I figured I’d tell you a little bit about myself.  I am a Navy brat who has spent most of my life living in Virginia Beach, VA and happen to think that it is the best city in America! Because of the large military presence in this area, you’ll be hard-pressed to find someone who does not consider themselves a big supporter of our troops and we regularly put our patriotism on full display.  I went to Catholic schools for 12 years and attempted college at Old Dominion University.  I realized that college was not compatible with my lifestyle since going to class, working in a bar and drinking (of course!) left very little time for studying.  I will never forget the one instance that I see as the straw that broke the camel’s back when it came to higher learning.  I was 18 years old when the attacks on 9/11 happened (a day that I will never forget).  The following semester, I enrolled in a class on our American political system and was very excited about it.  That excitement came to a screeching halt when the teacher of the course went on her own personal diatribe of the benefits that she saw in the communistic model and how it was superior to our republic.  *Side note- I cannot stand it when our representative republic is referred to as a democracy and if you do not know the difference, look it up. It was about 5 minutes into her praise of communism when I decided that I had heard all that I needed to and walked out of the class.  I know there are people who will say “you could have switched classes” or “getting your degree is worth listening to that as long as you learned the material and blocked her out” but for reasons I still don’t completely understand, it made me begin to question what the value of a college degree was and if it was even worth it. (this is a topic I will expand on in this blog) I continued working in local bars and became a bartender as soon as I turned 21 years old. (why I stopped bartending and whether or not I regret it will also be discussed) When I was about 10 years old, I had asked my dad if the “red team” or the “blue team” was the one that the military liked.  He answered that it was the “red team” and I declared myself to be a Republican from then on.  I realized during the elections of 2008 that I was not completely sure whether I was a Republican or Democrat and needed to re-evaluate the views of both parties as an adult because I wanted to be educated in my choice.  I took a bunch of current issues that were being discussed on the news and decided how I felt about them.  Lo and behold, my views lined up perfectly with the Republican platform.  I also should mention that I am fluent in sarcasm and if you are questioning whether or not something I post is sarcastic or not, err on the side of sarcasm! Well, that’s enough about me for now.  This introduction has reminded me of so many issues I plan on discussing and stories that I want to tell so I’m going to get to work on those but would love for you to tell me a little bit about yourselves!!
